The CEF was set up in May 2006. It is an actively managed open-ended unit trust scheme that invests exclusively in equities listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. The CEF is a socially responsible fund and will not invest in companies that are engaged in the production of weapons, narcotic drugs or derive their revenues from gambling or activities that damage the environment. The Fund Managers incentive fee is 20% of total returns in excess of 10% of Funds NAV.
