Nigerian Bottling Company was incorporated as a private limited liability company on 22nd November, 1951 to establish and operate factories for the bottling of alchohol-free beverages in Nigeria including the Coca-cola brand. The company has the franchise for the bottling of Coca-cola soft drinks in Nigeria. It became a public company in 1972 with its shares listed in the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
