The company was incorporated on 5 December, 2001 as a private company limited by shares and commenced operations as a legal entity in the year 2002 as an Information, Communications Commission (NCC). In April, 2008, the company was converted to a Public Limited Liability Company and its shares listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange after a successful private placement. The company is registered to carry on the business of providing a full range of infrastructure and project management services, including Telecommunications, Environmental, Power & Utilities and Oil & Gas.
