The company was incorporated in Nigeria as a private limited liability company in 1959 and was converted to a public limited liability company in 1973. The company's share were quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange with effect from 14 March, 1974. The principal activities of the group remain the manufacturing and marketing of paints and allied products.
